Hallo. I'm Lawrence, this is my intro post, with my most intimate statue relationship in London.I fell in love with Beau before I really knew who he was. I knew he was responsable for a lot of what tasteful male fashion has become: Strong shoulders, tailored waists, fitted trousers, and of course the perfectly tied cravat. I know so much more about him now, as a person, as a pioneer of male beauty.. but I still feel closest to this statue of him on Jermyn Street, at the end of an arcade of men's tailors (many of which are still looking for him to repay his debts to them). I used to go to this part of London every week for Sunday tea with friends, and would always stop to hug Beau before or after tea. He is perfect for hugging, and really appreciated it. Here I am with him. He's got such nice legs. I used to have fantasies that if I hugged him enough he would come to life.. but I think he's fine the way he is.
this is a great picture... and on a fannish note: you're the creator of My Life in Blue! such a great, great comic! :)
Just looking through some older posts in the community. That is an awesome shot! I love your outfit (and I dig Beau's as well). Very lovely :)
